The main entrance lobby leads to the restaurant which is completely set up and ready to go – including new table dressing, glassware, crockery and cutlery, the dining chairs are all newly bedecked with covers and bows and the whole area is decorated in a Mediterranean theme of blue and soft yellow. The dining area is glazed on two sides with an exit to the ‘dry’ terrace. There is an arched wall that opens onto a further dining area which can be cleared and used for any number of activities. In this section is a chimney with wood burning stove, a projector and large retractable screen, a light and sound system suitable for dances/discos, and sliding patio style doors that open to the pool room. A corner of the restaurant is set aside for relaxation with leather sofas. There is a large granite bar (which is currently closed off from the restaurant but could easily be reinstated). The bar is fully equipped with beer pumps, chilling cabinets, washing up facilities, a coffee machine and display cabinets for bottles and glasses - and there is plenty of room to move around behind the counter. From the bar, a good sized office is accessed with reception hatch, large safe and internal telephone system. The entrance to the kitchen is situated to the side of the bar. It has a full range of stainless steel industrial equipment, a new wood burning grill and oven, gas hob and oven with extractor unit, deep fat fryer, chilling cabinets and freezers, huge double sink and more pots and pans than could ever be used in one go! Next there are the ladies’ and gents’ toilet facilities which have been upgraded to comply with disabled access legislation. From here there is the private quarter which includes shelved storage areas, a walk in cold room and a laundry room which houses the various heating boilers. The 14m x 6m pool is heated by solar panels that also provide hot water for the shower. Below the hotel there is a graveled car park for approximately 20 cars which has mature planting and an irrigation system. Also on this level is the large pump / storage room. There is additional parking possible along the concrete drive outside the hotel. The bedrooms are accessed separately and are positioned above the bar/restaurant area. There are six rooms off a central corridor all with ensuite facilities, some with twin beds and some with room for 3 or 4 beds. All bed clothes are new and of good quality. The bedroom furniture is made of pine and the three larger rooms have sofas. Five of the rooms have their own generously sized private terraces with fabulous views over the mountains and valleys and down to the sea. All rooms have a tv with satellite receiver.
