Short toed Eagle of booted eagle?

I sometimes get these mixed up, but im pretty sure its a booted eagle,  there are lots of them and have been breeding steadily over the last 10 years. Nice to see them thriving.

Locally they call them Culebreras, Which is andalucian for Snake hunters. So if you see them hovering around late May to June, there is probably a snake nearby as thats when these critters come out of hibernation. they also eat small rodents and other birds. I have seen them make off with a black bird snatching it out of the air in mid flight.

this one was spotted in The Ronda area between gaucin and Cortes de la frontera, in an area called Salitre. Luckily I had my Camera on me and it was not at all bothered by me. You can see it having a good look and after deciding i was too big to eat, flew off.
