Townhouse to renovate in Gaucin with garden
A lovely little project on one of the nicest streets in Gaucin towards the edge of the village. The townhouse is more significant than it seems, as it opens at the back and has a good-sized first floor. It requires complete refurbishment, but with the addition of a roof terrace to take advantage of the views towards the Straight and the Crestallina mountain plus the fact it has a back garden/patio make it a great proposition.
The property has been empty for awhile and feels like going back in time. The ground floor consists of an entrance room, with another room at the back left and a corridor to the right leading to the old fashioned kitchen. There is a back door to the garden, with the outdoor loo block to the left, and widening towards the back. The garden would greatly benefit from loosing the loo block to maximise the space.
The first floor is accessed via some stairs in the kitchen. There are two fairly large rooms, divided by wide walls.
It is a fairly comprehensive project, as roofs will need replacing, but it does afford the opportunity to add a roof terrace, go up three floors and perhaps add another room, increasing the outdoor space and opening up the view. The garden could house a small plunge pool at the back.
